Dear people: for the coming time, our cafés in Ghent will be held bi-monthly. As much as we love to receive people, we are temporarily low on volunteers’ force. Rather than risking in cancelling events, we will be there with the cafés every 2 months.
You can find us in Ghent on on the next Sex-Positive Café Ghent edition: October 13 – December 8 – February 9 – April 13 – June 8.
This is a social event: a great way to get to know each other over a drink in a relaxed atmosphere with SPB members to learn more about each other and help to steer a course for their involvement (learn the ropes, if you will) in the amazing world of Sex-Positivism. Some (new) members may be completely new to everything related to sex-positivity. These members are going to need a different roadmap than those coming in from other sex-positive communities. By meeting them in a casual setting, we’ll be able to determine where they’re at. For more experienced members of spb: we’d love for you to help us out in giving advice, guidance, direction, etc. so possible newbies feel welcome.
We can thus make recommendations about the following: • events, classes, workshops to attend • books to read • other groups that may be useful • available resources • ways to get involved This info may be useful to all members, even the ones who’ve been around for a while. Feel free to bring your own books, toys, … or anything else you want to show to other people 🙂
This is a PUBLIC event, so feel free to bring friends & family! It’s an open event as well, which means you can come and go whenever you like. Welcoming all people regardless of gender, origine, sexual orientation, sexual preference or relationship style. Any form of discrimination is not allowed. Although most of our participating members there will be Dutch speakers, the main language used in events is English. Do not hesitate to come by if you don’t speak the native language! Location: Casa Rosa, Kammerstraat 22, 9000 Ghent
