Hi all! The Brussels Pride is a fun way to meet up and represent ourselves and our values. It’s always a fun party to participate in!
The LGBTQIA+ movement was born from struggle, and that struggle is far from over. Our reality continues to be all too often denied or made taboo. So it’s time to let our voice be heard! Come as you are and celebrate yourselves!
(To be clear: you don’t have to yell or stuff like that, almost no one does it, you can just walk with us and enjoy the festive atmosphere)
We’re meeting up from 13:45 at the Kunstberg/Mont des Arts, at the statue of king Albert on a horse. We’re easily recognisable by a big heart with an infinity logo from the poly group, who we’ll walk together with. At 14h some speeches will happen and after that we’ll walk to our spot in the parade.
After the parade, we can eat together and join one of the many parties around the city if we want.
You don’t have to be LGBTQIA+ to walk with us. Everyone is welcome!
